Anamorphic & Luminescent Sea Creature

Recently, I started messing around with using the freeform or more specifically the sculpt function on Blender. I decided it was time to start trying out other design options and naturally started to go through the process of trial and error as well as exploring the limitations of designing with more of an free form or anamorphic aesthetic. The end as you can see was a mix between a starfish and an octopus. I didn’t want to stop there. I wanted to challenge myself by making it hollow so that I could add a light to it and I also wanted to attempt to print it out bigger. It came out top about 19 inches by 19 inches total.

Since printing this design, a number of people have expressed an interest in it, so I decided to sell it. I certainly expect to create many more over the coming weeks.
